Acrylics
I started painting again this summer. I go to a recovery center where I consider my recovery to be from the experiences from my family of origin. At the center somebody bought some acrylic paints and canvases, so I started renewing my relationship with visual arts. I like painting it because I don’t have to think a whole lot and it sooths me.
Perhaps later I will put some earlier collages up on this website.
The freeform vs the meticulous
It’s later. I created a few digital art pieces around 2011. I took photos of an easel and some pictures I shot of the Emeryville shoreline and some digital art that I made with photoshop paintbrushes and I made collages. I also took some photos of the cemetery at the top of Piedmont Avenue in Oakland, as well as photos at the Bolinas bird sanctuary.
